The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is a documentary that follows Steve Wiebe as he tries to take the world high score for the arcade game Donkey Kong from reigning champion Billy Mitchell. The film premiered January 22, 2007, at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival[1] and has been shown at the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival, the TriBeCa Film Festival, the Aspen Comedy Festival, and the Fantasia Film Festival. Guerilla Grafitti - Banksy stikes again in Bristol! This time it's for keeps...
The notorious 'guerrilla artist' known only as Banksy has struck again and this time he seems to have hit the rat on the head so to speak. His latest urban delicacy is situated on the side of a sex clinic on famous Park St and shows a scene that has probably happened to some of us in one way or another. Well maybe that's just us then...

Anyway, the local council asked the public to vote on whether the piece should stay and a whopping 97% voted for its survival, with the main reason being that Banksy is a Bristolian and that it brightened up the 'urban landscape.' Only six votes were registered to as against the piece, with three arguing the work might encourage imitators and other graffiti that was less desirable; the others said graffiti of any sort made the city look scruffy.

Thursday nite saw the special VIP preview of Banksy’s guerilla art installation “Barely Legal” in LA’s downtown warehouse district. Highlights included a live pink elephant and a vandalized delivery truck INSIDE the gallery, a melted British phone booth & a display case featuring Banksy’s newly “remixed” Paris Hilton CDs and a colony of live cockroaches. With almost all works priced in the $100K range, this seemingly gritty space was truly the realm of the art elite as actors, musicians, models & art world royalty vied for the “privilege” of purchasing Sir Banks’ new creations. Afterwards, ultra-VIP revelers repaired to the luxe Roosevelt Hotel pool lounge for some all-nite action. To his credit, the B-boy was nowhere to be found.
