RESTAURANT REVIEW

THE GINGERMAN
AFTER HOSTING OUR WEDDING MEAL HERE WE WOLD LIKE TO PASS THIS LOVELY EATERIE ON TO YOU
The Gingerman Restaurant opened for business in April 1998. The premises, at 21A Norfolk Square Brighton, have been a restaurant for as long as most people can recall - at one time an Indian, then for many years as Swans, briefly as the Wilde Dubliner and now, in only a short space of time, The Gingerman has established a reputation for providing excellent food and wine at accessible prices.
Describing his dishes as modern European in style, Ben McKellar the chef proprietor, has worked in several leading UK restaurants as well as Avignon in France and New York. His aim, along with his front of house partner, Pamela Abbott, is to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Where better to entertain family, friends and clients either during the course of an evening or at lunch time when the service needs to be prompt yet without being rushed. The Gingerman can also provide a leisurely Sunday lunch.
